Life, Music, Chaos and Serenity
Allegedly, a poem.
When times get hard
As they always will
When the kids are loud
And won’t sit still;
When sleep is short
And days are long
Why then my friend
It’s time for song.
Music heals, uplifts and sooths
It’s steady beat a balm for mood
My mind’s a mess, my soul’s a wreck
So tuning in, I start to check
What feel need I, to escape the pain
Pop culture shunned, trop rock again?
Old Gospel Hymns, or powerful heat,
soothing calm or driving beat
Let it be said oh, once again,
Just lived, good life is colored pain
But Joy and Grace are wove throughout.
So as I calm, I need to shout.
