Sure is Monday isn’t it now?
Sun coming up, or going down? It’s technically Thursday, but it’s been Monday’s all week it seems. anybody else having a week of Mondays?
I’m stealing a few moments here while I have them, between projects, to dash off a half-baked entry. It’s been too long since I last posted something with heart. I pushed the boundaries of my comfort zone with that last post which marked the start of my personal recover al-anon type blog, then doing an about face I ended up feeling scared and burnt out after admitting two very key points.
1- I have been in a fair number of serious ‘should have died’ situations and didn’t, this solidified my faith over the years.
2- I have tried to kill myself, more than once, in the past. Not my best moments. I am ashamed of those moments still…
But as all good introverts do, I then promptly shut down , stopped sharing anything at all. No posts, no writing, no fiction, no journaling, nothing. No Thing At All.
I just stopped as far as my social presence was concerned. I lurked Facebook, I lurked Tumblr, and even here on Medium, I mostly just lurked.
But now I’m back on top, and admitting my faults, it’s time to get to work. I have a series of posts lined up about affiliate marketing, but I don’t think I’ll be sharing them here, too much cross pollination, and there’s a set of business posts that need to be finalized and loaded up, probably over on danielocasey.com (writing as a business) and shared here, you can link out and sign up for an email letter that I’ve yet to get started if you’d like, I’d be stoked to hear from you, but life is what it is and I’m just starting out here. I get it.
And finally some self-help kinda stuff that also needs be finalized (it’s a series, so getting the format right and the flow happening is key there.).
Wish me luck, and some kind of replacement for sleep, since I still have six kids and a day job to keep on top of.
